Brief Description of Duties / Minimum Requirements: This position is located in Austin, TX and relocation assistance is not available. Approximately 10-15% travel is expected.
Responsible for "full service" employee relations for several departments in the company, which includes being a liaison for employees and managers, as well as acting as a business partner to the department. Provide problem/conflict resolution; actively participate in and provide guidance on processes such as salary planning, opinion surveys, interviewing, hiring, coaching, communication planning, and more. Also responsible for handling visa requests, short-term disability, some employee events and other projects as assigned. Must be able to interface with employees, management, and Emerson corporate staff. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and good presentation skills.
Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of Human Resources exempt-level experience, which must include employee relations.
