Contract Assignment Opportunity: (Contract) DeltaV System Test Engineer

Requirements: The successful candidate's responsibilities include:
- Execution and automation of daily smoke and performance tests on PC based and embedded operating systems
- Use of automated test tools
- Maintenance of test scripts for automated tools
- Troubleshooting of product and automation problems and isolation of defects with product development team
- The testing scope covers both software implementation and system usability
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Good understanding of PLC or DCS control systems application and usability (any industry application is fine) is required
- Software development and/or testing experience is required (Visual Basic, HTML, web apps, etc. are acceptable)
- Foundation Fieldbus, Hart or DeltaV are a plus
- Scripting languages is strongly desired
Expected Assignment Duration:
Approximately 6 to 9 months, with a possibility of extension based on business needs at the time.
Employment agency:
The successful candidate for this temporary assignment at Emerson Process Management will be employed by a preferred staffing services provider for the duration of this assignment.
Employment Screening:
Background Check and Drug Screening are required.
Start date:
ASAP after completion of required employment screening.
