Unlock the power of
ELITE for unparalleled flow and density measurement performance. Now with DeviceNet™ and Profibus-DP
outputs, the Micro Motion 2400S transmitter deliver next-generation advances to easily handle tough process applications
such as fluids with entrained air. Built-in smart diagnostics alert you to potential problems before they impact your process.
With patented meter verification technology, the 2400S – at the touch of a button – allows you to diagnose installed meter
performance without secondary references or removing the meter from the line.
Compact design, easy to install, with lower wiring expense
MVD digital processing delivers advanced built-in diagnostics for performance under entrained gas and batching from empty applications
Meter verification determines complete sensor health in line and without secondary references
Optical buttons on display eliminate the need to remove transmitter cover
Remote communications options including the 375 Field Communicator, AMS Suite: Intelligent Device Manager, and ProLink® II and Pocket ProLink
Supports wireless communications using IrDA Modbus port
Class 1, Div. 2 (Zone 2) hazardous area approval (sensor and transmitter)
HART version provides one 4-20 milliamp and one configurable channel (10 kHz frequency, discrete output or discrete input)
DeviceNet™ version integrates simply and easily into a PLC or DCS and offers optional concentration and petroleum measurement applications
Connectivity to a wide range of control systems using traditional analog and frequency signals, HART, DeviceNet, or Profibus-DP
Emerson’s Micro Motion® Coriolis Meter is ideal for Food & Beverage and Life Science Industries
Model 2400S transmitters with
316L stainless steel body and expanded choice of communication interfaces increases versatility of ELITE® Coriolis meters.
Micro Motion
has expanded the range of compact Micro Motion®
2400S transmitters with the
introduction of a 316L stainless
steel housing as an alternative
choice to the standard
polyurethane-painted aluminium
housing. The integral mounted transmitters, in either style of housing, can also now also be ordered
with DeviceNet or PROFIBUS DP communication protocols.
Rated to IP66 and IP67, the corrosion resistant stainless
steel housing is ideal for applications
where
instruments are subjected to regular caustic wash-downs, which are typically found in the food, beverage and life
science industries. The 316L construction is also ideally suited for marine and offshore environments. The
integral mount design of the transmitter simplifies installation and reduces costs.
Analog, Device Net, or Profibus DP output
IP66 and IP67 rated
In-situ meter verification in under four minutes
316L for optimal corrosion resistance in wash-down
Ideal for food, beverage, and life science industries
Perfectly suited for harsh marine and offshore environments
Available with choice of non-glass or glass display window
