The World’s First Coriolis Flowmeter Safety Certified to SIL 3 Level

The smart Safety Instrumented System (SIS) from Emerson Process Management, an extension of PlantWeb® digital plant architecture, is now further enhanced with TÜV certification of Micro Motion SIS Coriolis meters.

This TÜV approval results from factory and device audits, as well as validation of FMEDA (Failure Modes, Effects and Diagnostic Analysis) by the industry’s safety authority, Exida. Exida’s FMEDA scores proved Micro Motion meters the best of any Coriolis offering.
