FIELDVUE^® instruments provide the solution through alerts and alarms that tell operators when a valve needs attention.  Cycle counter and travel accumulator alerts can indicate packing wear.  Diagnostic tests reveal performance degradation.

From a maintenance perspective, FIELDVUE instruments provide the solution by allowing remote access via HART^® or FOUNDATION^® fieldbus digital communication.  A valve installed in a hazardous or remote area can be interrogated from a safe location by tapping into the twisted pair of wires.  The FIELDVUE digital valve controller was designed with easy maintenance in mind.  Its modular construction provides for uncomplicated repair and troubleshooting .   AMS ValveLink^® Software provides an audit trail, which tracks any changes to instrument configuration, calibration, and diagnostic testing thereby reducing paperwork.   The microprocessor-based instruments also enable auto-calibration for quick and repeatable results.
