Reduce Maintenance and Operations Cost

The continuous cost of maintaining your equipment is a significant component of the total life cycle cost.   Troubleshooting, ease of use and documentation are important aspects of maintaining instruments.   Before we discover how FIELDVUE® instruments can help reduce maintenance and operations costs, let's clarify why maintenance is so important.

In an ideal world, your valves would never need maintenance and would always deliver a perfectly repeatable response.

But wear and tear inevitably causes valves to become sloppy or unresponsive.

Over time, a more conservative process set point is used to compensate for the additional variability caused by inadequate valve performance.

Changing the setpoint results in increased energy and feedstock costs.  If the setpoint is not changed, scrap costs would increase and product quality would decrease.  Eventually, these costs add up, and you many not even recognize it!

What is the solution?
