It all begins at the birth place of the control valve assembly.  A Valve Signature will document the baseline new condition of a control valve assembly.  You can do this in your maintenance shop with AMS ValveLink® Software and a FIELDVUE digital valve controller with Advance Diagnostics capability.  Or, Fisher will record this baseline for you when you request a Signature Series Test with your new control valve.

Your experience with diagnostics continues when you are informed of control valve performance problems.  Friction, time, and tough process fluids take their toll on your valves.  But Valve Diagnostics tools are there to advise you of impending problems - before they affect your process.

The value and cost impact becomes evident at the point where you service your valves to keep your plant running at its most reliable and productive level.  But using diagnostics to pinpoint problems, you don't service all of your valves - just the ones that need it - when they need it.
