Emerson Delivers Start-Up Services to Help Power Generators Execute Best of Class Projects Fisher Start-Up Services Now Available with CON-TEK® and Severe-Service Product Orders MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA (January 6, 2002) – Emerson Process Management has announced that its Fisher Controls division now offers plant start-up services on all orders for its CON-TEK® brand of steam conditioning products and severe-service products. Start-up services include the availability of experienced personnel from a local Fisher Service Company to help ensure correct valve operation throughout the start-up procedures and to collect diagnostic data for valve performance evaluation. "At a time when new power plants are being built throughout North America, Fisher is supporting its customers by offering start-up services that help shorten project cycle time, eliminate rework and avoid delays," stated Dennis Beckman, Sales Director for Fisher Service Company. "We are confident that engineering contractors will see faster start-up times with fewer valve-related problems," said Beckman.
