Fisher Valve Performance Test Facility

See what we�re doing in the Singapore Research and Engineering facility.

An opening celebration was held on May 21, 2002, for the launch of the Singapore dynamic performance loop with Mr. Lau Gar Ning, chief executive officer of Tuas Power Ltd., as the guest of honor. There are only five such loops in the world, all owned and operated by Fisher.

The Singapore Research & Engineering facility houses a couple product testing labs in addition to the dynamic performance loop.

Using the performance loop, engineers and technicians simulate how typical problems in the control valve have an impact on the loop performance hence plant profitability.

With Emerson technologies, plant personnel can open a window to the process. Using Fisher Digital Valves coupled with AMS ValveLink software, you get an accurate picture of valve performance. Imagine the maintenance impact by knowing when a control valve does or doesn�t need repair and if it does need repair, whether it needs to be removed from the line or not.

The performance loop demonstrates the PlantWeb digital plant architecture by integrating intelligent field devices and the DeltaV digital automation system together with AMS software. Customers can view the newest Emerson technologies in the performance diagnostics lab, including products from:
