Fisher Valve Division’s eplug™ designs offer distinct control capabilities

MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA (December 2001) – Fisher Controls International LLC, a division of Emerson, has issued a new 12-page brochure that describes the eplug™ rotary control valve family. Included in the eplug family is a trio of valve designs—the BV500, V500 and CV500.

The BV500 provides accurate flow control over a wide range of general service conditions. The V500, in addition to offering accurate control, also gives you the ability to win against mild to severe erosive liquids as well as other hard-to-handle fluids. The CV500 offers enhanced control performance with greater capacity and rangeability.

Features of the eplug rotary control valve family include minimal seat wear, low operating torque, accurate flow control, FIELDVUE® digital valve controller capability, trim material options, structural integrity, and integral positioner mounting. In the brochure, details are provided on actuators and accessories, maximum flow coefficients, fluid compatibility guidelines, and shutoff classifications.
